Position Summary

The Clinical Application Specialist will be an essential part of the CuraMedix Sales Team and as our clinical product champion will demonstrate and introduce prospects to these technologies and their benefits as well as onboard and train new customers.

The Clinical Application Specialist will report to the Director of Sales and will be responsible for pre-and post-sales customer support for the CuraMedix product suite and their application. They play a fundamental role in the exceptional service, support, education, and training CuraMedix offers its prospects and customers.

The Clinical Application Specialist will work closely with Sales to identify new product or upgrade opportunities as well as with the Service/Tech Support team to identify device issues and maintenance needs.

Your efforts will impact our customers’ ability to improve productivity, patient outcomes, experiences and quality by optimizing their technical and clinical competencies, workflow, and protocol management.

The Clinical Application Specialist will travel extensively with travel encompassing 70% or more of the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training, education, and technical support to customers on-site and online

  • Provide technical and clinical guidance during pre-sales process by demonstrating the full range of CuraMedix products and technologies, including potential uses, product capabilities, and benefits

  • Communicate customer feedback to the appropriate functions in the company

  • Document and manage all relevant customer activities within the CRM system

  • Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and customer training

  • Provide post-sale support onboarding and in-servicing customers with clinical support, product training, and education

  • Identify customer satisfaction issues, trouble shoot issues, assist in escalations, problem determination, and specialty training requests

  • Develop meaningful relationships with CuraMedix customers to standardize and optimize protocols as well as support our clinical education initiatives

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience with timely communication and follow up

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent 3+ years of technical/clinical industry

  • Prior experience in medical device or tech industry, and/or working in a clinical environment; a plus

  • Proven presentation skills and success facilitating training and transferring knowledge

  • Ability to engage and build relationships with decision makers (ie. medical professionals) and office personnel

  • Proactive in identifying and resolving issues and recommending improvements

  • Customer service-oriented with exceptional attention to detail

  • Strong clinical and technical troubleshooting skills

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, independent worker

  • Ability to multi-task and make independent decisions while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple and changing priorities

  • Organized and proven time management skills

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to travel and manage a busy schedule

  • Proficient in MS Office; specifically, Word, Excel and Outlook

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary $45,000-$65,000 (based on experience) + opportunity for quarterly bonus

  • Health insurance

  • Paid time off and 8 paid holidays per year

  • In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI).

Position Summary

We are looking to add to our sales team and bring someone on who is motivated and eager to prospect new business as well as service and grow current accounts.

The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The candidate will be responsible for making multiple calls per day, monitoring and managing leads and contacts within our CRM system, prospecting for business within target markets, and assisting with order processing and back office activities.

Target markets to include: Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Pain Management, Podiatry, Chiropractic, PT/Physio, Plastics, Dermatology, Urology, Wound and Veterinary.

This position will be based at CuraMedix headquarters in Lincoln, Rhode Island and will require some travel. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of inbound/outbound calls to/from warm leads

  • Provide exemplary consultative selling

  • Nurture and transition leads through first point of contact to the sale of CuraMedix products

  • Create strategic call plans to support sales activities

  • Collaborate with CuraMedix management to transition leads from conferences/tradeshows and referrals into sales

  • Execute the sales administrative process to include: paperwork flow, physician contacts, payment processing, and record documentation in CRM

  • Enter sales orders, facilitate execution of financing documents and pricing approvals as needed

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience with timely communication and follow up

Qualifications

  • Goal-driven personality with a need-to-win attitude

  • Self-starter with high energy and a persuasive communication style

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to engage and build relationships with decision makers (ie. medical professionals) and office personnel

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Customer service-oriented

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with management and outside resources

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

  • Medical device sales experience a plus

  • Proficient in MS Office; specifically, Word, Excel and Outlook

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary $40,000-$45,000 (based on experience) + commission

  • Health insurance

  • Paid time off and 8 paid holidays per year
